NY Army National Guard Sgt. Kirk Moon, a Canandaigua resident, reenlists during July 19 ceremony on CH-47 helicopter

Latham, NY (07/30/2018) — New York Army National Guard Sgt. Kirk Moon, a Canandaigua resident, reenlisted during training at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, on June 19.

Moon is a military police team leader assigned to the 222nd Military Police Company in Rochester. He and several other Soldiers reenlisted on board a CH-47 helicopter flying above Fort Indiantown Gap.

He enlisted in the New York Army National Guard in October 2012.
