57th Annual WNY Armed Forces Week

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. (04/19/2017) — The 57th Annual Western New York Armed Forces Week celebrations will be held May 7-13, 2017.

The week-long festivities will be hosted this year by the United States Air Force in tribute to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. Profits from the events will support the WNY Freedom Lounge of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. The lounge provides a comfortable space for traveling military service personnel and their families.

Opening ceremonies commence at noon on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Buffalo RiverWorks, 359 Ganson St., Buffalo, N.Y. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Armed Forces Luncheon will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Tickets are $30.00 per person. The Armed Forces Military Ball and awards ceremony will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. The cost is $45.00 per person. Both the Luncheon and Ball will be held at Salvatore's Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Rd., Depew, N.Y. and tickets must be purchased in advance.
