Capital Region Airman recognized for National Guard achievement

LATHAM, N.Y. (04/14/2025) — New York Air National Guard Commander Maj. Gen. Michael Bank presents the Air and Space Commendation Medal to Air National Guard Senior Master Sgt. Dean Lansley at the New York National Guard state headquarters in Latham, N.Y. on April 5, 2025.

Lansley, from Niskayuna, New York, is assigned to the New York Air National Guard headquarters detachment.

He was recognized for Force Support operations at Green River Innovative Reediness Training in Henderson, Kentucky in June 2024. Lansley was responsible for the food service team, ordering and receiving food, inventory, cooking meals, and delivering on-site meals to 168 people three times a day.
