Maser Sgt. Devin Reilly, Troy native, named Senior Enlisted Airman of the year at 109th Airlift Wing

Stratton ANGB, NY (02/21/2020) — Master Sgt. Devin Reilly is the 2020 Outstanding Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year for the 109th Airlift Wing, New York Air National Guard.

Reilly works as an Emergency Manager for the Civil Engineering Squadron at the 109th Airlift Wing. As an Emergency Manager, Reilly is trained to handle recovery and response operations after natural disasters and man-made crises; to help those affected by a disaster to reach safety.

Reilly distinguished himself by leading seven Airmen while deployed for Operation INHERENT RESOLVE and while at the 109th by leading Airmen through seven different exercise scenarios. He also trained 425 service members on how to operate in hazardous chemical and biological environments.

Reilly also volunteers often in the community, serving lunch at the City Mission and raising money through various running events, contributing to re-homing injured service dogs and providing athletic scholarships.

Reilly hails from Troy and resides in Clifton Park.

Airmen of the Year are selected based on their leadership, job performance and personal achievements.
