Niskayuna resident Aletha Camack promoted to Senior Master Sergeant in the New York Air National Guard

Latham, NY (05/14/2018) — Niskayuna resident Aletha Camack was promoted to Senior Master Sergeant in the New York Air National Guard during a May 11, promotion ceremony at Division of Military and Naval Affairs headquarters.

Camack serves as a human resources specialist in the New York National Guard Human Resources Office.

She joined the Air Force in 2000 and transferred to the New York Air National Guard in 2005She has served in the Air Guard's headquarters since 2013.

Her postings have included the Field Operations Directorate at Air Mobility Command Headquarters at Scott Air Force Base and as Accessions and Confirmations NCO at the Air Force Personnel Center at Randolph Air Force Base.

Camack holds a bachelors of arts in English and creative writing and is pursuing a master's degree in English.

Her award and decorations include the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Achievement Medal, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, the Air Force Recognition Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Nuclear Deterrence Operations Service Medal.

Camack is married to Chad Camack. She has a son, Nicolas Della Rocco, and two daughters: Emily Della Rocco and Kacie Wilday.
