NY Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Jobanka Jayne, a Rensselaer resident, is recognized for service

Latham, NY (05/03/2019) — New York Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Jobanka Jayne, a Rensselaer resident, was recently recognized for her service with the New York Army National Guard's Military Personnel Office from 2015 to February of this year.

During her service with the military personnel office, Jayne processed over 1,300 personnel transactions, prepared 15 boards for federal recognition of officers, and took part in several state active duty mobilizations.

Jayne is now working in the New York Army National Guard's Joint Forces Headquarters, Headquarters Detachment.

Jayne was awarded a trophy by Lt. Col. James Cahill, the director of military personnel, during a ceremony on May 2.
