New York Naval Militia Rear Admiral Michael Perry, an Averill Park resident, salutes during change-of-command ceremonies held at New York National Guard headquarters in Latham, New York on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 as he became the new commander of the 3,000- member New York Naval Militia.
