The annual Security Forces Squadron’s Fallen Defender Ruck March held Aug. 12, 2020 at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base in Syracuse, New York. The march will be held in 2022 on Wednesday, August 17. In 24 one-hour blocks, participants will complete a 2.8 mile ruck march in honor of the 14 Security Forces members who have died in combat operations since 2001.
