Army National Guard Recruiters on hand for Herkimer County Fair, August 16-21

FRANKFORT, N.Y. (08/15/2022) — Visitors to the Herkimer County Fair will be able to learn about opportunities in the New York Army National Guard, and check out an armored Humvee, by stopping by the recruiting station which will be set up at the fairgrounds during the run of the fair.

Recruiters from the New York Army National Guard will be on hand at the fair from August 16th, until the fair ends on August 21st.

The recruiters will be at the fairgrounds from 8 a.m. until the end of the night.

New York Army National Guard Soldiers will be on hand to talk about their service and the opportunities the National Guard offers. Military equipment will also be on display representing area units, including the 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry Regiment.

Members of the press are invited to visit the New York Army National Guard recruiting station for a different take on fair activities.
