Glenville Resident Brian Trudeau Promoted to Chief Warrant Officer 4

Latham, NY (07/29/2019) — LATHAM, N.Y. - Brian Tudeau, a Glenville, N.Y. resident, was promoted in the New York Army National Guard to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4 Brian Trudeau during a promotion ceremony held July 26, 2019 at the Joint Force Headquarters here.

Trudeau serves as a property book officer at the headquarters. His wife Allison was on hand to pin on his new rank.

Col. James Gonyo, director of logistics at the Joint Force Headquarters, presided over the ceremony and praised Trudeau's long military career and his dedication to service.

Trudeau joined the Marine Corps on July 26, 1990, spending six years as a combat engineer. He deployed in support of Operation Desert Shield in 1991, and deployed again in 1992 to Cuba.

In 1997 he joined the New York Army National Guard and was assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry Regiment in Geneseo, deploying with them from 2004 to 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Trudeau also deployed in 2006 to Arizona in support of Operation Jump Start, before going to Warrant Officer Candidate School in 2007. His most recent deployment was from 2012 to 2013 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Trudeau's awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, U.S. Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal and the Humanitarian Service Medal.
