NY Army National Guard Warrant Officer Candidate Liz Rosado, a Menands resident, receives Army Commendation Medal

Latham, NY (06/28/2018) — New York Army National Guard Warrant Officer Candidate Liza Rosado, a Menands resident, has been awarded the Army Commendation Medal for exemplary service while service as a paralegal in the National Guard's Judge Advocate General's Office.

Rosado served as a paralegal non-commissioned officer, before being selected to serve as a legal warrant officer.

Rosado has also been assigned to the 42nd Infantry Division, headquartered in Troy, and deployed to Guantanamo Bay in 2015.

She is currently service as a paralegal and personnel officer for the New York National Guard Counterdrug Task Force headquartered at Stratton Air National Guard Base in Scotia.

She was presented with her award by Brig. Gen. Patrick Center, the New York National Guard's Director of Joint Staff on June 28.
